QuestionMy husband and I have been married for about 4 years. He is overly jealous. He does not want me having any contact with a man. No talking whatsoever. If I get on the phone handling business with a man he gets irrately jealous and angry. Every job I have ever been on; he looks for a problem with a man. I am in the process of putting him out because he is driving me bananas. I hope I am doing the right thing..

You are doing the right thing. He's the one that has the self-esteem problem and has some serious issues with it and that's why he's so insecure about you talking to another man. Even though you may love him, as you stated this can't keep going on. It's likely just to get worse as time progresses. You have to draw the line somewhere especially when he's either unwilling or unable to change his bad habits and ways. You deserve way better than what he's currently capable of providing for you as a husband.
No one wants to divorce, it sucks having to go through all that hassle, arguing/fighting, etc, etc. You have to know in your heart of hearts that you have made the right decision to put him out and to move on with your life. As hard as it may be for you to do it's really a necessary evil to show him and make an example of him that he can't up and treat you in this unacceptable and inappropriate manner, period. However, since you came to this conclusion to finally put him out, you really need to stick to this decision. Otherwise, if you let him stay and change your mind, he's going to know that you'll keep forgiving him, keep taking him back and thus letting him continue behaving this way. You can't do that.
Don't get me wrong, it's tough and it will get worse before it gets better. You have to make a decision and stick to it and not let him control your emotions and manipulate you ever again. You can do this and you are making the right decision.
