A spouse cheating with a step-child?! That is just unacceptable for a step-parent to do, not to mention very inappropriate. Sure, you can forgive him for it, but you should not remain in the marriage. As he can't be trusted. He crossed the line when he cheated with a family member (blood or no blood, kin is kin). I don't think you can rebuild a marriage after this type of action.
What if he was tempted to do it again, with another member of the family? What do you do then? The what ifs would always be there. He violated your trust for him. He can't be trusted, if he'll do that with family. Perhaps it's best if you just cuts your losses and move on. As hard as it may be, it's probably for the better.
