Identifying a Jewelry Maker: Help with an 'E' Signature on a 14K Pendant

Hello, I have a 14K, pearl and 9 diamond (looks like chips) pendant...it is marked 14K with a maker signature I cannot read...it starts with an E   .  I cannot think of any fine jewelry maker that starts with an E...can you help me?  It is a short name....thanks so much..

Hello Cheryl and thank you for your inquiry. However, I'm afraid I can't be of much helps on this jewelry maker unless there are more markings to research.  There were quite a few companies that used the E as their mark - most included other marks such as triangles, circles and other iconic shapes.  Since it is 14K you might consider taking it to an estate appraiser for more information. The mark may be familar to them. Check with your local antique shop or museum for a referral to a professional who could do this for you.  Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance but enjoy your pendant !
