St. Anne Medal Engraving Details - Research Request

St. Anne medal
This is a pic of the medal that was referenced to you back in 2007.  Have you found anything more about the medal.  Composition, circa, engraver.

The engravings that I 'can' make out (with a 20-power portable scope) are "Karo", "France", AP (sharing a leg), and the very bottom are two initials separated with a cross - maybe 'AF' depending on what side is up(?)  ~Thanx

Hello Tom and thank you for your inquiry. The only possibility I have found regarding the medal itself is it may be referenceing Ste Anne de Beaupre. I have listed a site below that you may find interesting.  The other letters probably refer to a maker or design mark.
