Decoding Gold Ring Hallmarks: A Guide to Identifying Markings

Hi, I recently inherited a gold ring from Finnish/Swedish ancestors. I have found out some of the info but not all. I could post or send a picture of the hallmarks if that would help. They are from left to right - KAL in an oval (makers mark..?), a crown in a co-joined 3 circles (gold mark), a 750 in an oval (18kt mark), something that looks like a shoe or an oil lamp in an oval (?), and a U4 in an oval (date mark if finnish 1901, if swedish 1850?). Thanks for any light you may be able to shine on these.

There are listings for all of the scandanavian countries and the gold marks are similar to the silver.  Hope this helps !
