Weighing it will give you nothing because you can not measure the stone accurate enough to tell if the stone is a diamond or not.
A diamond tester is a posibility but since the rough has a shell it might not be 100 percent accurate.
Unfotunately, the only way to tell is if you are familiar with how the rough should be.
Let me give you a word of advise.
buying rough diamond is very complicated even to diamond dealers, if you do not know nothing about diamonds dont buy a rough diamond since you might loose all of your money.
