Age Gap in Marriage: Is a 12-Year Difference Suitable?

QUESTION: hello, S.Kessler. firstly thank you for your great help to us for our quests. my girl friend is 19 years old and i am 31 years old. and she loves me much as i am. our realtionship and sexual life is great.is our ages normal or suitable to marry? in the future can there be sexual problems or etc ? briefly, am i a big man for a woman who is 12 years younger then me to marry? please tell me your opinions, thanks. kind regards.

If you are both compatible in every way together.  Then yes, why not marry her?!  Age is nothing but a number (as long as both parties are of legal and consenting age).  The biggest thing is that you get along well, you're both compatible, you love each other, you can't see your life w/o her in it, etc.  As long as your both happy and in love this relationship should be fine.  

If you love her, marry her.  Everything else will fall into place (age isn't an issue): love, compatibility, respect is.  As long as you have that for each other, marry her, be happy together for the rest of your lives.  Just remember that every couple has their problems in life, it's how you work it out together as a team, etc.  It's all how you cope and deal with things in life, that will make or break any relationship in life.

QUESTION: Thanks for your kind response S.Kessler.Youe are so kind. I understood whole of your statements. Its great. It has supported my relation with my girl. As age is not matter, I want to to know specificly, If i was 45 years old and She was 20 years old the difference would be 25 years. And our current case is 12 years age difference. So except all our compatibilites; Is our age difference (12 years) is BIG or not ? or in other words is a 12 years of age difference can be adviced or not; for any couple thinking to marry? so many thanks. kind regards.

No, your age difference is not that big at all.  A 12 yr age difference is fine.  You can marry at any age too.  Besides it's not about what others think of you or the age difference between your girlfriend and you.  It's what you're comfortable with and what makes you happy.  12 yrs in difference is nothing major at all.
