If I may, please let me ask to you seriously consider whether you are ready for marriage at age 16. You may be madly in love with this young man but, you are going to change. He is going to change. Most teenagers don't deal well with changes in those they are in love with. What would be the harm in waiting 24 months until you are 18?
There is a huge maturity difference between 16 and 18 and things might change a lot.
