Navigating Age Gaps in Relationships: Is 3 Years Too Much?

Question
Hi - I am a 32 yrs old female and falling for a 29 year old guy - living in the same town.  I have met him a few times now and have really started liking him a lot.  He does like me too - to some extent, but keeps bringing the age factor in between.   Do you think it's a big thing for a girl to date and eventually marry a guy who is 3 yrs younger than her?  Is there anything wrong with it/ any drawbacks of it?
Please explain - coz now i think it's getting a tough for me when he tries to keep his distance and all I want is to take our relationship to the next level.

Answer
It's OK as long as both are wanting to go forward. The important thing is you are both attracted and both see the other as best friend, both have shared values and beliefs, hopes and dreams. But before up jump in, get to know his rleationship with father and mother when he was a child. If he was close and had caring relationship, then it will likely be safe to go forward.
