Understanding Acrylic Nail Fills: Best Practices & Avoiding Damage
QuestionHi! I have a question that you may be able to answer. I was starting to get my nails done at a place I really liked (acrylics) but when they filled my nails they did not take off the acrylic that was there. I have always heard when you get your nails filled htat they remove the acylic and replace it? After 1 week my nails looked really bad and I ended up removing them myself. I was disappointed because I had planned on keeping them on. Do I need to ask them to remove the acrylic and then refill them?
AnswerI thought i already answered this question, if i did please ignore this reply.
If everything is done correctly there is no need to remove everytime your nails have a growth are, they just need to be filled or rebalanced, they are thined out and new product is applyed. Ocassionally there could be a need to remove one or more nails beacuse they have to much lifting, and removing is less time consuming.
But your nails should look just as good as new once the infill or rebalance is performed, so complain if that is not the case.
Hope i could help.
