QuestionQUESTION: Hi, i got my nails done a few weeks ago, when i went back to get them filled,
the person doing them filed down the white part that they put on the first
time and then sanded the acrylic down, and put more product over the whole
nail, filling it. when they were finished they looked awful. you can see the line
where they had previously grown out to, and now the section of white is very
very small. i was wonderig if this is normally how they do it or if i am just
going to a cheap nail salon that doesn't know what they are doing.... please
help! i don't want to keep going back to this place if they are doing it wrong.
ANSWER: Hi, are u in the UK, no this is not right, they should of buffed the old product down and then re applied the white and pink, so that it was all balanced and looking like when u first had them on, what is on your nails, Fibreglass, gel or acrylic?

QUESTION: no i am not in the uk, and it is acrylic, but the white was just a fake plastic nail
they glued on and then cut it down to th right size.
AnswerHi Emillie, ok now i see what they have done, this way of applying nails is very quick and only looks good for 2 - 3 weeks til the white grows off and then it looks awful, i would get them removed and find another salon, check their qualifications and find somewher to apply a set of natural fibreglass nails, they are thin, strong and are painted with nailpolish so they always look good and they are easily removed and kinder to your natural nail.
