Safely Removing a Pearl from a Ring for Pendant Resizing

hello , i have a client that brought in this large pearl in a gold ring that i need to remove to  make a pendant  for her , do you have any suggestions on how to remove this pearl , i really don't want to use any heat to loosen this pearl, Paula

It is difficult to give you much advice without seeing the Pearl and how it is mounted... if it is simply held in by prongs this will be very easy.. if there's some sort of glue at the base this could prove tricky... if you would like, take a close-up photo and send it to my regular e-mail rolfefox@gmail.com..
