Wagner Manufacturing Company Filigree Pearl Ring - Identification & History
QuestionI was in an antique store in TN. Saw a very unusual ring. I purchased it. It is a white gold filigree ring with a pearl. The mount for the pearl looks like a crown, set up high, it is also filigree with 6 prongs. Inside the band is 14k W.G. Any idea where or who made the piece, antique even?
AnswerHello Jayne and thank you for your inquiry. Your ring could be by Wagner Manufacturing Company, New York. They were active in the 1930's - don't know if they are still in business. The W. G. could also just be the marking for "White Gold". If the company is still in business, they may be able to identify it as one of their designs. Sounds beautiful though - wear and enjoy !
