Identifying Vintage Rhinestone Pendants with Star & Circle Markings

Hi,I have a beautiful colorful rhinestone pendant, it is marked with a star in a circle, have you ever heard of this mark? Thanks.

Hello Cubbie and thank you for your inquiry. The only mark similar to the one you describe is for Staiger & Sons, Inc. in New York City c. 1930's. Only it has an "S" in the middle of the star. You might check out the following book in your library or bookstore "Collecting Rhinestone Jewelry" by Dolan. It has an extensive listing of costume jewelry marks and you may be able to make a visual identification.
