Vintage Rhinestone Necklace Appraisal & Value - Expert Advice

Question
QUESTION: I have no I deal who made this or year.  I was told it was made in the 1920's.
Do you have any ideal of the value or what you would ask ?
Thanks

I'm sorry for the resending, I forgot to do a picture attachment. I have other photos if
you need them.

ANSWER: Yes this is a repeat of the previous question.  There is no image attached to either.  Unfortunately I am not psychic so will need good closeup in focus shots on a BLACK matt or WHITE matt background.

Then I will do my best to help.  I would refrain from calling it "Antique" until you know approximately which era this was produced in.

Even if it is approx 1920 that still makes it Vintage and not Antique.  Antiques are over 100 years old.

QUESTION: First of all I'm Very sorry I wasted your time and didn't follow the exact steps. I didn't realized  that I was sending until it was to late. I have a new laptop and just learning and I'll try to be more organized.  About your remarks.  I can't believe you would say this." You must be the only American in America who knows nothing about costume jewelry.  There, it is a national obsession."  It's been awhile that I've use allexperts, I apparently for got how to do the process.  I realized I use the wrong terminology.  I'm not sure if your telling me I'm uneducated, stupid or ignorant, what are you saying?  This is not a joke.  I'm trying to educate myself on Antique and Vintage I have a lot of it and it just recently become a hobby of mine. Even you had to learn at some point, I don't believe we are born with that knowledge.  Again I'm sorry.  I hope the photo is the right size.

Answer
It might be a good idea to include your name, to show that you are a genuine enquierer.  I have had no end of ridiculous questions lately including "I want to ensure my jewellery last forever".  It turned out to be a malicious prankster, of whom we get many.

If you are learning how to use a new computer I can well understand your difficulty.  My remark about North Americans was not facetious.  They out of all on the planet, know their vintage costume jewels, but you are quite right, everyone must start somewhere.

I suppose what I am saying is that you are a rare American who does not even have a glimmer of what to do about identifying vintage jewellery.  Obviously you are not stupid nor ignorant or you would not have contacted me.

You are quite right to try to educate yourself on VCJ there are many fakes and frauds around, particularly on online selling venues such as the global online marketplace, Ebay.

As I stated to you, I need closeup images of the whole thing, the front, the back, the clasp, any marks, any damage and the provenance (where it came from, how long you have had it etc).
The one image you sent via the Allexperts system is not sufficient I am afraid.  In my previous message I asked you to re-size them to 900 pixels wide (any image manipulating program will do this) and reduce the resolution to under 100.

I gave you my direct email and am trying to help you.  But in order for me to do that, you have to provide me with at least some good quality pictures.

The reason I volunteer here  (I do not get paid and spend hours a week both researching and answering qustions), is that I enjoy sharing my knowledge.

So please, if you would like further constructive advice, kindly follow my request for direct email images showing the pieces I have asked for.

Regards
