I have a rhinestone bracelet of my grandmother's which needs a small solder repair. Is there somewhere, preferably here in Central Florida, where I can take it for knowledgeable repair?   Thanks.

Hello Evelyn and thank you for your inquiry. The difficulty in soldering rhinestone jewelry is that the heat will damage the stones. It is possible if the stones can be removed nearest the repair and then replaced after soldering. I know of no one in Central Florida who can do this, but you might check with your local antique shop for a referral.  In the meantime, I'll check to see who does it online. You might have to resort to a mail order repair if the item is worth it to you. Hope this helps and I'll be back in touch.
