Identify Foreign Hallmarks: UK Origin of 18ct White Gold Ring?

I have an unusal hallmark on a white gold ring as follows:

18ct SM BC4 E1   there follows 1.60 [the weight of the gemstones] and then JR 14336.

The ring is 18ct gold and has been valued as genuine but I am interested to track down its origin.

Hi Susan,
Best I can say is that it seems the ring is from the UK based on that number configuration.
I'm sorry thats the best I can do because I'm not familliar with that. Hallmark.
