Understanding Gold Ring Markings: CH 750 - What Does It Mean?

Hi there, I have what appears to be a gold ring with the markings "CH 750" on it. Could you tell me what these mean?

750 is the stamp for 18kt gold most likely a European item since domestic stamping usually is 14kt or 18kt. 750 means 75% pure gold with the balance being alloys depending on the color of gold.
The CH may be the mfg initials not too sure based on what you have given me
