Understanding Meda Markings on Topaz Rings: Origin & Value

Question
I recently made a purchase of a large 14 kt blue topaz ring. It has 32 smaller stones set around it. I think the small stones may be saphires or topaz. On the inside it is marked with both China and MEDA. Can you help me find out more about who made it and what it might be worth. Thank you very much.

Answer
Dear Laurie,
Your asking for me to verify (32) sapphires or topaz without seeing them and you want me to clarity and color grade these stones that I can't see. I would be happy to help you if you would be fair to me but your asking me to appraise a ring on a question and answer forum.
Your appraisal work requires lab testing and a hallmark research.
I suggest you find a qualified gemologist in your area.
Please rethink your rating. Im an expert gemologist providing a free service to you on this forum and the rating you are giving me hurts my livlihood.
