Decoding Gold Ring Stamps: Understanding '10kWB'

Question
I have an older (1950-1960's) 10k gold ring with a genuine cat eye stone.  inside the band it is stamped 10kwb.  What is the "wb"? I have spent hours Googling to find no answer and local jewelers all have different answers, mostly no one is sure.

Answer
Hello David,
the "wb" is most probably the maker's initials, the 10kt  is for 10 karat gold.if it were white gold that would be clearer, but i'm betting it is a small independent jewelers mark.
I'll look at marks and if i knew where you were or where it originated that would help narrowing it  down some.!The 60's give me a clue...hope that is of some help
best regards, Ari
