I HAVE LOOKED ON THE INTERNET BUT CAN'T FIND ANYTHING.I THINK I AM GOING TO SELL IT DO YOU THINK IT'S WORTH GETTING A VALUATION BECAUSE I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT I COULD BE WORTH DO YOU HAVE ANY APPROX IDEA? ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED
THANKS SHARON

Answer
Sharon, none of the information given helps me in knowing much about the ring.  The information I would provide would be the same as the jeweler and would concern the metal quality and gemstones.  The MAGIE and 966AR does not bring anything to mind and I do not research trademarks and associated information because it almost always turns into a rabbit trail and the rabbit wins! That is why I state in the "instructions" to please not ask about trademarks.  Honestly, when someone does ask and I do know the answer, I am pleased to help.  In this case, unfortunately, the marks mean nothing to me and I cannot help on that.

As for a valuation, the ring must be in the jewelers hands for an on the spot examination of every character of the ring and the gemstones. From that gathered information a value may be established. This will mean an appraisal and paying the fee for that work to be done.  While a jeweler will generally not guess on a value as this is not ethical, you may be told if the ring will justify the price of the appraisal. I suggest you ask that very question and you may then proceed or not on a formal appraisal with accurate infomation.

Best Wishes.  God Bless and Peace.  Thomas.
