Is It Petrified Wood or Opalized Wood? Expert Identification

Sir,
Good day, I found a stone in a forest park near our place. It looks like a petrified wood but I'm not sure if it is a real petrified wood or any sort of gemstone, it can scratch a window glass just like other gemstones. But I am not sure what king of stone I posses. I attached a photo of it that might help you.

ure looks like petrified wood. Identifying a stone from a photo is difficult at best and very likely wrong. But that is my opinion. I don't see any opalization on it. It is a rock or mineral of some kind, but only if I can hold it in my hand and test it could I say for sure what it is. Thanks for asking and
