Evaluating the Value of Your Vintage Amethyst Ring

I have a(medium stone) amethyst ring that was given to me as a birthday  gift in 1970, i have a tiny diamond on one side the other side is missing,it is silver and a small part of the band is broken off.Inside it has 10KOTN or 10KGTN.Can you please tell in if the stone has any value.

Very difficult to say what its value is without seeing it . Amethyst is a semi precious stone. It is not a rare stone at all.It may be a nice faceted piece but I would be surprised if it were more than say between $50 - 120 for the stone , the setting could be 10 k  and may be plated .
