QuestionHi, my name is Patsy and Im around 25-26 weeks pregnant, and i experienced some bleeding after intercourse with my boyfriend, and Im worried that i might be having a miscarriage or complications?? I have pain in my vagina, and around my lower abdomen, I havent had any bleeding since, should i go to the hospital or is this normal?

Bleeding in pregnancy is not uncommon but any bleeding should be discussed with your midwife or doctor. Some of the pain could be explained by pressure from the baby sitting low down. All of this can be checked by your doctor to offer you peace of mind that everything is ok.
