Question -
I have had all lymph nodes removed r/armpit due to breast cancer - it had not spread and it was 7 years ago.
I am having EDTA chelation (to clear heavy metals) and have much better circulation in r/arm. I have not had any lymphoedema in this arm for the past four years would it be safe to have the chelation in this hand?
Many thanks...

Hi Ann,
As a rule it is inadviseable to have any therapies to the hand or arm on the side with lymphnode removal for any reason except in life threatening emergencies.
AnswerHi Ann,
The reason it is inadvisable is that once lymph nodes are removed, out flow of lymph is compromised. That can cause fluid collection in the arm as well as limit the ability of disease fighting organisms egress. If that occurs an infection or inflammatory development could be catastrophic.
