QuestionMy husband wants to be there when I deliver the baby, but he has "Movie-phobia" and thinks it will stink and there will be alot of blood. How can I convince him that it's not that bad. AnswerYour best option is to rent lots and lots of birth videos for him to watch with you before your own Big Show. Check with your care provider, or check online. Many natural childbirth advocates, midwives, and birth centers have whole lending libraries of natural childbirth videos that you can access. Also check with your own public library, although they may not be as helpful. Expose him to as much normal childbirth as you can, to override the "showbiz" picture he has already absorbed.
