QuestionHello,
I won't bore you with the details on how this happened, but my 2 year old was accidentally given a flu shot TWICE within 4 days of each other! He was given the flu vaccine last Tuesday and then again (accidentally) on Friday. What could happen to him? Will this harm him? Will the shots still protect
him from the flu? Please help, and be honest.
AnswerGetting a second one will not hurt him in the least. It is unfortunate though, since they are in such short supply. But, there is no problem about getting two, since this is not a live vaccine. It will also not work any better with two, but will certainly protect him adequately.
Hope this helps...
