Prolonged Postpartum Bleeding After C-Section: When to Seek Medical Advice

I had a baby boy 4 1/2 months agon and I had a c-sec. I was bleeding for about 3 1/2 months and for 2 weeks no bleeding. I got my period soon afterwards and after a month I'm still bleeding...should I be concerned?

You should probably check with your doctor at this point.  Even during a c-section, fragments of placenta can be left behind, causing extended bleeding.  Also, if you have had any difficulties in healing from your incision, this can also cause bleeding.  You need to work with your doctor to determine the cause and treat it.
