Postpartum Bleeding After C-Section: What to Expect & When to Worry

Question
QUESTION: i would  just like to know if bleeding after 4 and a half months after giving birth to my daughter by emergency c section is normal, i think that i have went a total of 2 weeks spreed out of not bleeding. i had to see the doctor cause i had abnormal cell the doctor then did a Colpapscopy(not sure of spelling)and said that everything looks ok, i asked her about the bleeding and she said give it a couple more mths and then get back to her if no changes, she also gave me the go ahead to have another baby so we have started trying, do i risk the chance of a miscarriage or not getting pregnant at all, i still have some pain from the c section, im not sure what i should do the bleeding is really started to get fustrating.

ANSWER: hi- i would call your ob, its usually not normal to bleed after 4.5 months after a c-section, however after having a colposcopy you could bleed another month. wish i could help you more, i would consult your physician. what kind of pain are your having?

QUESTION: i'm was having pain to where it hurt to have intercoarse, sit breath most times my pelvic hurt the most i went to doctor at hospital yet they keep saying theres nothing wrong, and it stopped for a bit now its starting again, im tired of trying to find help to see what it is they keep telling me im fine, but i now theres something wrong

Answer
possibly your partner is "bumping" your cervix which is tender after the colposcopy during sex. hmm. i would not have sex for a couple weeks so you have time to heal. if you continue to have pain, i would consult a physician, sorry i cannot be of more help on this one.
