Birth Control Pill Timing: Understanding Correct Dosage & Effectiveness
Questionokay well do u have to take your non-active pills exactly the third week of the month... can you take it like the second week of the month and then take your active pills the third week instead... if you can do that is there more of a chance you will get pregnet?? well please get back to me soon... that would be great thank you! ~Amber~
AnswerYou have to take the pills just the way they are prescribed. one week after the other in order. The non-active pills have no hormones (or different hormones from the active ones) and bring on the "false period" - if you take them out of order you could get pregnant and you will cause great confusion to your body and your cycles will be messed up and you will not know what's going on. If you've already done this, then you need to use back-up protection until you get back on track.
