Seasonique Birth Control: User Experiences with Bleeding & Irregularities

I've been taking Seasonique for about a year now, and I've never done the week of yellow pills for the period because when I do get my period it's always very heavy and lasts past the week of pills. I usually end up in the hospital, you get the idea. About 6 months in I was getting horrible irregular bleeding and stopped taking the pills and had a 2 week period. I restarted, and everything's been fine since.
I've noticed that for the past few months that when I orgasm, (whether from sex or masturbation) I always have bloody discharged, and maybe a small clot (The size of the head of a q-tip or smaller). To see if it was just from intercourse, I had an orgasm without intercourse and narrowed it down to just orgasming in general makes this happen.

Since this is happening, I decided to jump to the yellow pill week and it's the 2nd day, and I have absolutely nothing happening. Could I stop taking them and go back to the regular pills? I really don't want a period, I only tried this because I wanted the bleeding during orgasm to stop.
(My Gyno approves of me not taking the yellow pills at all if you were wondering)
I really don't want to have my period this week because I'm going to see my boyfriend that I haven't seen for six months, and I really don't want a period (you can guess why).
Could I stop taking the yellow pills and be safe?

Hi Emily,
For many women that try to take the pill continuously to avoid periods, it usually only works to a certain point, and then a period wants to come.  At that point, it's usually best to stop the pill for 4 days to allow some bleeding.  I think the spotting with orgasm is from your period wanting to come.  If possible, I would wait for 4 days before restarting the pill.  If no period starts, then it's not going to.  If that doesn't resolve the spotting, you might have to live with it.  I don't think it can be anything serious.  You might have a small polyp inside the uterus, so if the spotting continues, you might consider a D%C and/or hysteroscopy (scope through cervix).
