Accidental Double Dose of Birth Control: What To Do?

Question
I accidently took my next week's regular pills rather than my fake pills which I take the week I start my period.  I did not realize until Friday because I have been naseaus all week.  I can not remember if I just didn't take the fake pills, but I am almost positive that I just skipped to the real Nordette pills.  I took two pregnancy tests (the one that detects the pregnancy hormone 5 days early) to make sure and they both came out negative.  I am worried that I have messed up my period and that I might have a chance of being pregnant.  My doctor will not be in until Monday and I don't know whether or not to continue to take the pill and just take the fake ones next week or what.   Since I have missed a period I don't know whether it was the birth control or being pregnant.  Please let me know your opinion.

Answer
When you skip the "fake" pills that causes you to skip your period.  If the pregnancy tests were negative, you are not pregnant.  Continue to take the pills you have left in the box and skip the last week of pills to bring on your period next month.  Then start a new pack and do it correctly.  You should be alright.
