Breast Pain & Soreness While on Birth Control: Causes & What to Do

Hi, I have been taking avine for a year or so now, and suddenly my brests are so sore and swollen that they hurt to the touch, I have never experienced this problem before, however I missed a few pills this month and have been doubiling up on the pills and taking them at irregular times. My husband and I have only had sex one time scince my last cycle (about 2-3 days after my last pieriod and im not due to start agaim for another week or so.) Should I stop taking the pills beccause I could be pregnant, or is the tenderness most likely from taking the pills irregularly and doubiling up. It is too early for a pregnancy test, so I am in doubt as of what to do.

This is a question for your healthcare provider, the person who prescribed the pills for you. The package insert, the paper directions, in the pill container give some directions what to do when you miss pills. Breast tenderness can be an indication of pregnancy.
