French Manicure Cracking Under Gel Polish: Causes & Solutions

In the past two weeks, I've gone to two different salons to get fills.  I have acrylic over my natural nail, then they painted white french tips by hand, coating with gel afterward.  Both times I've had the same problem within a day or two.  The white paint cracks under the gel and looks awful.  What are they doing wrong?  My old salon airbrushed the french and it would last for weeks.

Usually to coat a paint with gel the paint has to be completely dry before applying the gel coat. If this isn't the case it will crack and peel. Airbrushed paint dried pretty fast this is why you never experinced this before, perhaps you cna have your french done in acrylic or in white gel. Since you have enhancements it's seems the most logical thing to do.
