QuestionI had acrylic nails for many years when I developed an allergy. I miss having care free nails and was wondering if Gel nails would work for me. If not, can you make another suggestion.
AnswerDear Suzan
Both standard liquid and powder Acrylic and UV Gels are BOTH Acrylic. Simply, in different forms.
Without knowing the exact source of your allergy, it's hard to answer your question.
You might have had an overexposure reaction. You might have reacted to a toxic acrylic. It might only have been a reaction to a specific brand. etc.
You can try UV Gel, but be sure it's TRULY UV GEL that's being applied. Important to note: UV Gel NEVER contains powder

Creative brand does have a UV Gel product line known as "brisa" that's purported to be hypoallergenic. You might consider trying that as well.
I hope this helps
