QuestionI am a nail biter who has recently quit. I have a little bit of growth but my nail tips have not reached beyond my finger tip. I DESPERATELY want to get some type of extension on my nails , maybe gels?? I was not sure how long your nails had to be to get tips. I have a small nail bed and as i have said, my nails aren't even that long. I wanted to know if you had any suggestions on what type of tips i should put on and if I would be able to put any on with my short nails. I was thinking about getting very short tips.Do they make very short tips??? Thank you!!! =)

well done for breaking the habit!
you should seek the help or an experienced nail tech, preferable a master tech, as bitten nails may cause an inexperienced tech some problems.
the tips should b tailoured to fit over your short nail bed and then cut to b the same length or just longer than your finger.
your nails will grow fast for a little while because your body wont realise at 1st that you have stopped bitting them!
therefore you may need maintenance appointments more frequently than average for your 1st couple of apps.
if you can find someone that knows how to "custom blend" your nails, they will b able to move your smile line up nearer to the end of your finger and camouflage your natural nail. that will b more flattering, what ever you do, dont let someone stick on white tips as they will not look attractive as they will shorten your nail bed even more.
