Identifying Your Ring Manufacturer: Understanding Trademark Symbols

Question
I am looking at replacing my engagement ring so I can set it in white gold; it is currently in yellow.  I am trying to use a local jeweler to do so, but we can't figure out the company it came from.  The trademark symbol reminds me of a P laying on its side with the bubble up and a little thicker at the stem where a p would come down.  Any idea of the manufacturer of the ring?  Thanks!

Answer
HI JAIME,

I AM REALLY BAD ON TRADEMERK STAMPS SINCE I LEARNED A LONG TIME AGO THAT THERE ARE LITTERALY THOUSANDS OF THEM AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO REMEMBER THEM ALL. YOU CAN RESEARCH THEM AT A GOOD LIBRARY. HOWEVER THERE IS NO NEED TO KNOW THE MANUFACTURER TO REPLACE THE HEAD FOR A DIAMOND. YOU CAN GET ANY SIZE AND COLOR FOR ANY DIAMOND FROM MANY "FINDINGS" COMPANIES IN THE STATES. IF THE JEWELER SAYS THE RING MANUFACTURER IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO IT THEN YOU SHOULD GET ANOTHER JEWELER. I HAVE PERSONALLY REPLACED MANY HEADS FOR MANY DIAMONDS. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
