Identifying a Diamond Manufacturing Logo on a 14K Gold Ring

I got this ring from my mother and have had it for several years now. I always thought it was fake but recently found this symbol (picture attached) of a diamond with a half circle around it and the 14K symbol for gold. What does this symbol mean?

I recall this symbol to be a diamond mfg. logo. I can't remember which mfg. It may be Davidof. The ring is stamped '14k' so it most likely gold and the stones should be diamonds. The pic is not very clear but I would venture to guess it is a diamond ring.
