Ring Value Assessment: 18kt Gold, Onyx & Diamonds

I have a ring that is 18 KT H.G.E. with an A of some symbol within a circle. I know that means it is a heavy plating. It has an emerald cut onyx stone with 4 small diamonds on it. I was wondering if it has any value. I1d estimate total diamond would be 1/4 kt.

Hi Donna,

The value of your ring can be estimated using the current price of the gold per gram X 18/24 X weight of the ring in grams then add the value of the emerald and the diamonds to that. I'm not able to tell you how much you can get for it exactly because to estimate it,  the ring would need to be weighed and the gems will need to be examined if they are real so I suggest to just take it to a reputable jeweler for the exact value. Be careful of ones that might undervalue the ring. Good luck.
