Repairing a Chipped Amber Ring: Options & Advice

I have a beautiful amber ring from Denmark. Unfortunately I have chipped the
amber and it now has a small piece missing. Is there a resin or similar
product it can be repaired with?

HI NICOLE,

UNLESS YOU HAVE THE SMALL PIECE THAT CAME OUT IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO MATCH THE COLOR AND INCLUSIONS TO REPAIR IT. I WOULD TRY TAKING IT TO A LAPIDERY AND SEE IF THEY COULD POLISH THE STONE TO COVER THE CHIP. THEY WOULD ALSO HAVE A RESIN OR POSSIBLY A PATCH FOR THE STONE. A GOOD LAPIDERY COULD FIX IT.
