Identifying a Vintage JF Initial Ring with Emerald and Diamonds

Hello ,
I was given a ring for Christmas-I believe it was an estate ring. It's quite small 14k gold with a center small emerald and four tiny diamonds and four gold leaf like designs framing each diamond. the emerald is in the center so the whole ring has an irish clover flair to it.

On the inside is a JF but the F is signed from the stem of the J---do you think this is a jeweler or a person- or perhaps who knows?

Hello Calder and thank you for your inquiry. Your ring sounds beautiful and I believe the JF is probably the manufacturer name. Unfortunately, I have not been able to identify the initials for you. You should probably have the ring appraised either locally or by an online appraisal site. "What's It Worth To You" is one site that will appraise from a photograph and they do charge a small fee.  Hope this helps and enjoy your ring !
