Decoding Jewelry Stamps: What Does 'STS' Mean on a 14K Ring?

yes i have a ring that is stamped STS i looked to see if i could find out what it stands for. Most likely the same as most as all the others mfg. But just wanted to make sure .
Do you know what this is . I would appreciate any info you could give me .Thank you for your time.

This may be the mfg. of your ring. However, if your ring is vintage or costume, that may not be the case. This company is primarily a fine jewelry company.
