Understanding the A106 Stamp on Your 14K White Gold & Diamond Ring

I am wondering what it means when a 14k white gold and diamond ring is stamped A106 inside.
Purchased for $999 USD in Dec 1999

Hello Priya and thank you for your inquiry.  This mark is not familar to me as far as metal or stone identification - could be a manufacturer/designer mark for the type of ring.  You might try checking with a local jeweler.  They may recognize the marking and can give you more information.  Hope this helps and enjoy your ring !
