Cutting & Polishing Stones: A Guide for Beginners

I am always looking for artifacts on my property because it is basically 75 acres of rock with tree on top,anyway,I have found some interesting stones that I would like to have cut and polished for display and jewelry.What should I do? They may not be valuable but I think some might be worth cutting for me.Thanks for any ideas,Chip

Hi chip,

You need to locate a rock shop that offers lapidary services.  They can saw and polish very large stones. Some can make spheres as well.  If you have a hard time finding one there is one here in Salt Lake City ,  Utah.   www.rocks4u.com
