Identifying Unusual Rock Finds in Connecticut: A Geologist's Advice

I am a blaster in ct. I found a 25 40 lb rock with it looks like Black crystals , green emeralds, gold chips, but the black chunks of the shining crystals caught my eye. Who do I bring this to for them to look at it.

SOUNDS LIKE A REAL FIND. I WOULD TAKE A SAMPLE TO THE CLOSEST UNIVERSITY THAT HAS A GEOLOGY DEPT. AND SHOW THEM WHAT YOU FOUND. I WOULDN'T TELL THEM WHERE YOU FOUND IT JUST ASK THEM TO IDENTIFY THE MINERALS. OR IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THE CRYSTALS A GEMOLOGIST MAY BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY THEM IN SMALLER SIZES. GOOD LUCK
