makers mark   Hi, this is my great grandmother's ring and I was just wondering what this mark means. :) I believe it's an "MG" or "GM" or maybe even a "MC"

This is a very good Makers Mark and it should be easy to find. You need to know the country of origin and a time period to make it easier. There are literally hundreds of thousands of marks in the world and the easiest way to find out is with as much knowledge of origin as possible. I have not seen this mark before and cannot guess the country of origin without more information. Try looking through the lists of makers and their symbols for the right one. Good luck,
