Identifying Makers Mark: Understanding Cat Hallmarks on Jewelry

I have a ring that looks like it is made of silver wrapped around a polished stone.  There are two marks on the inside.  One looks like a cat from the side walking and the other looks like a cat from the front.  Can you give me any information about this ring?
