QuestionMy wife started going home to columbus, ohio with just our 2 children to visit her family. I was under going treatment for hep c and did not want to travel the 200 miles for these visits. This went on for a little over two years.
She would frequently go out with her brother and his wife and other couples, including new years eve partys.
Now that I am better, hep c in remission, I want to attend these couples outings with my wife but she refuses to let me go with her. She claims it's her and her brothers "thing" and she doesn't want me included.
I say this is odd behavior not to want your spouse along for supposed spouse outings. Am I wrong???
AnswerJeffrey - you are right. A spouse should always come first and the fact that she does not want you to be included is troublesome.
I think you need to calmly and lovingly discuss this with her and simply insist that you want to be with her. If that means joining in with her brother, etc - so be it.
Go.
