AnswerAny value of Beta HCg that is less than 5 is considered negative for pregnancy. It does not matter if you are a virgin or have had sexual intercourse. Beta HCG is a hormone that is released only when you are pregnant. If you are pregnant it will be detected in your blood and urine. If you are not pregnant, it will not be there. Ahy value of less than 5 is considered negative (due to lab error). If you become pregnant the values are very very high.
