Understanding Fertility Challenges with Streak Ovaries & Bulimia Recovery

Question
I'm 24, and a bulimic, with a history of anorexic bulimia, thus causing ammennorhea (excuse the spelling please ) since i was 19. i had bilateral, uni-locular, simple ovarian cysts that i got removed last year. my doctor put me on progyluton that i use nowadays, i got married last year and my doctor said these pills will help me conceive because my ovaries are what they call "streak ovaries" or something with very little activity. as the course of medicine goes, after taking the 21 pills, one pill per day, i mensturate and then restart the medication. occassionally i used to stop the medicine for a month or so to check if my natural cycle has started or not but it hasn't.
the thing is.. that this time, after completing the 21 day course with progyluton i have not yet mensturated, i fear i might have gotten pregnant whereas we cannot afford to have a baby yet. I know there are medicines (one week course orally taken or injections, 2 to 3 to be taken on specified days etc) for intense treatment of seconday ammennorhea, they are known to cause abortion as well.. i would just like to ask the name of any such medicine please. i live in Pakistan and it is not that easy for me to discuss these issues with the doctors here, therefore i would be very much obliged for your help. thank you

Answer
If you are late for your period (or the withdrawal bleeding from the medication), first you should get a pregnancy test to make sure that you are not pregnant. If you are not pregnant, you can use Provera 10mg twice a day for 5 days and you should get your period within 10 more days. Provera used to be used as a pregnancy test and it does not cause an abortion if you are pregnant.
